BBC NEWS: Jadon Sancho Completes Move to Newcastle United on Four-Year Deal

Newcastle United have officially confirmed the signing of England international Jadon Sancho. The 25-year-old winger joins the Magpies on a four-year contract, bringing an end to his tumultuous stint at Manchester United. The deal, reportedly worth around £45 million, marks a significant statement of intent from Newcastle as they continue building a squad capable of challenging for top honors.

Sancho, who made his name at Borussia Dortmund with dazzling performances and impressive goal contributions, struggled for consistency at Old Trafford. Despite flashes of brilliance, he failed to cement a regular starting spot and spent the second half of last season on loan at his former club, Dortmund.

Eddie Howe, Newcastle’s manager, expressed his excitement about the signing, calling Sancho “a world-class talent with the creativity and flair to change games.” Sancho is expected to slot into Newcastle’s dynamic attacking setup, providing pace, dribbling, and goal-scoring threat from the flanks.

Speaking to the club’s media, Sancho said, “I’m excited for this new chapter. Newcastle is a club with big ambitions, and I’m here to give everything for the shirt and the fans.”

Sancho is expected to join pre-season training in July.
