Rangers team news v Man United – Midfield star among eight ruled out
Mohammed Diomande will miss the Europa League clash between Rangers and Manchester United on Thursday, confirms Philippe Clement
The Gers travel to Old Trafford in a return to European action on 23 January with a view to cementing a place in the top eight of the group phase.
Jack Butland is back in training but Dujon Sterling, John Souttar, Neraysho Kasanwirjo and Tom Lawrence all look set to miss out through injury once again.
The Belgian will also be without midfield star Diomande against the Red Devils through suspension after picking up a yellow card against Tottenham.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference on 22 January, Clement said: “We will miss some players who could start with injuries, the European list and suspension with Dio. It is about the full squad digging in together and getting results.
