Tam McManus has been left fuming after watching the recent away performances from Rangers.
In his view, if Philippe Clement is to be sacked, it will be due to the club’s away form and not their home form. This comes after Gers cruised to victory at home against Celtic, winning 3-0, and days later blew a two-goal lead to the 3-3 draw against Hibs on 5 January.
Speaking on PLZ Soccer on 6 January, McManus said at 11:37: “Rangers are two different teams. At home, they’re very strong, they’ve not dropped many points.
“Away from home, they’re dreadful. And their away record overall is so poor that if doubts do come on Philippe Clement (regarding his sack), it’ll be the away form. it won’t be the home form. It’ll be the away form. They don’t look equipped for the rough and tumble of away grounds, away performancesClement may have secured himself a brief reprieve following Gers’ emphatic 3-0 victory over Celtic at Ibrox, which showcased the team’s potential.
