Rangers are considering appointing former Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Rohl as Russell Martin’s successor, according to Rangers Review. The Ibrox side are on the lookout for a new manager following Martin’s sacking on Sunday and are believed to be evaluating several names who could take charge mid-season.While Gerrard is seen as a leading candidate and would be open to a return to the club four years after his departure, Rohl’s name is also under consideration for the second time in the last four months.Rangers looked at appointing the German before they hired Martin on a three-year contract in June and had been in talks with Rohl over his potential arrival in the summer.
