GOOD NEWS:Davide Ancelotti, currently serving as an assistant manager at Real Madrid, has reportedly decided to remain with the Brazil national team coaching staff alongside his father, Carlo Ancelotti, effectively ending speculation about his potential move to Rangers FC.

This decision comes despite earlier reports linking him to the managerial vacancy at Rangers, following Philippe Clement’s departure in February. The club has been actively seeking a permanent manager, with Barry Ferguson currently in an interim role.

According to Spanish media sources, including journalist Alberto Pereiro and Radioestradio, Davide Ancelotti has chosen to continue working with his father until at least the summer of 2026, coinciding with the FIFA World Cup in the United States and Mexico. The allure of being part of Brazil’s World Cup campaign and the absence of significant solo coaching opportunities contributed to his decision. Despite many expecting Davide to embark on his own managerial journey, he has opted to delay stepping out from his father’s shadow in favor of the prestigious Brazil project.

This development has led to the dismissal of any doubts regarding Davide Ancelotti’s potential move to Rangers, as he has committed to his role with the Brazil national team for the foreseeable future.
