TRANSFER NEWS: Jamie Vardy JOINING RANGERS AS FREE AGENT

Jamie Vardy’s potential move to Rangers has ignited speculation following his departure from Leicester City. After 13 years, 200 goals, and 500 appearances, the 38-year-old striker confirmed his exit after Leicester’s relegation from the Premier League.

While no official offer has been made, former Rangers manager Ally McCoist revealed he once attempted to sign Vardy during his time at Fleetwood Town, but financial constraints hindered the move. McCoist believes Vardy would still be a valuable addition to Rangers, citing his enduring pace and goal-scoring prowess.

Adding to the conversation, ex-Rangers star Paul Gascoigne endorsed the idea, stating that Vardy’s experience and tenacity could bolster Rangers’ attack.

Vardy’s future remains uncertain, with interests from MLS and Saudi clubs also reported. As a free agent, his next move is eagerly anticipated, and a stint at Ibrox would undoubtedly be a headline-grabbing chapter in his storied career.
