Breaking:Rangers are reportedly in talks to sign a “devastating” £10 million-rated attacker, with fans already buzzing over the prospect of him linking up with incoming forward Oliver Antman.

The potential double swoop could significantly boost Rangers’ attacking options as manager Philippe Clement continues his summer rebuild.

According to multiple reports, the Ibrox club have opened discussions with the representatives of a highly rated winger known for his blistering pace and ability to create chances out of nothing. Described as “devastating” in the final third, the unnamed target is believed to be playing in a top European league and has attracted interest from clubs in England and Germany. However, Rangers’ proactive approach and the promise of regular football could sway the player’s decision.

The timing of the move comes just as Rangers close in on the signing of Finnish international Oliver Antman from Go Ahead Eagles. Antman, known for his creativity and intelligent movement, would form a potent attacking partnership with the incoming winger, giving Clement dynamic options in wide areas and behind the striker.

One Ibrox source suggested: “He’d be amazing with Antman — the two of them could terrorise defences. They’re both direct, technical, and unafraid to take players on. Clement wants fast transitions, and this pair fits that vision perfectly.”

While no names have officially been confirmed, the player is believed to be comfortable playing on either flank, making him a valuable asset in Clement’s flexible attacking setup. With pre-season preparations nearing completion and Champions League qualifiers on the horizon, Rangers will be eager to wrap up this deal swiftly.

Should the transfer go through, it would mark another ambitious move by Rangers in what is shaping up to be a busy and exciting summer transfer window.
