BREAKING NEWS:Rangers sporting director Kevin Thelwell was one of four key figures who faced the media on Tuesday during the grand unveiling of Danny Röhl as the club’s new head coach.

Thelwell, alongside chairman John Bennett, chief executive James Bisgrove, and Röhl himself, outlined the club’s vision for a “new era” at Ibrox. The event marked a defining moment as Rangers officially introduced their ambitious 35-year-old coach, who has vowed to bring “intensity, identity, and progress” back to the team.

Thelwell spoke about the club’s commitment to long-term planning, stressing that Röhl’s appointment reflects a shift towards modern football structures and a clear recruitment strategy aimed at sustainable success both domestically and in Europe.

Röhl, visibly excited by the opportunity, told reporters: “This is a massive club with incredible support. My job is to give the fans a team they can be proud of again.”
