Rangers head coach Danny Rohl has vowed to bring an exciting and fearless brand of football to Ibrox as he prepares for his first match in charge — a Europa League clash against Norwegian side Brann.
The 35-year-old German, who officially took over earlier this week, has spoken openly about drawing inspiration from some of the most influential coaches in modern football — including Hansi Flick and Ralf Rangnick — both of whom he worked closely with during his rise through the coaching ranks.
Rohl, one of Europe’s most promising young tacticians, insists his Rangers team will embody “bravery, intensity and structure,” promising supporters a modern, high-energy style that reflects his footballing philosophy.
“I want us to play brave football — with and without the ball,” Rohl said. “My teams press aggressively, play with courage, and always look to control the game. I learned a lot from people like Hansi Flick and Ralf Rangnick about structure, discipline and how to make players better every day.”
