His last appearance for the club came on 26 February, in the 4-2 win against Kilmarnock.

Northern Ireland called up McCausland to their senior side for the upcoming international break.

Gers, via their official X handle, issued an announcement of the same on Tuesday, 11 March.

The 21-year-old has so far made three international caps but is yet to find the back of the net for them.

 

He will be hoping to break the deadlock if he’s given the minutes against Switzerland and Sweden over the coming days.
