Rangers make new Ianis Hagi announcement
Ianis Hagi has enjoyed a more productive few months at Ibrox with Rangers now making an official announcement about the midfielder.
Hagi spent much of the early parts of the season on the sidelines.
However, the 26-year-old has featured more consistently in recent months, and was involved as the Gers advanced to the UEFA Europa League quarter final.
The midfielder came off the bench, and sent a two-word message to a Rangers defender after the penalty shoot-out victory over Fenerbahçe SK at Ibrox on Thursday (13 March).
However, despite his more consistent appearances, Hagi could still leave Rangers, and the Gers have now made an official announcement about the Romanian.

The Gers confirmed on Saturday (15 March) that Hagi has been called-up to the Romania squad for the March international break.

Hagi has chipped in with some goals for Rangers this season
He will be looking to get on the pitch as his nation gets their 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign underway by taking on Bosnia and Herzegovina at the National Arena on Friday (21 March) before facing off with San Marino in another qualifier at the San Marino Stadium on Monday (24 March).

Rangers will hope for no fresh Hagi injury
Hagi is a player who has struggled with injuries. Therefore, Rangers will be keeping their fingers crossed as the player jets around Europe with Romania over the coming weeks.

While there is little left to play for in the Scottish Premiership, the Gers will be dreaming of another famous run in the Europa League. As a result, they’re going to need all hands on deck.
Hagi has been popping up with goals and assists more regularly as of late, and losing the playmaker to injury in an international fixture would represent a big blow for Rangers.
However, on the other side, Hagi could go away and enjoy a productive spell with his country, which would no doubt boost his confidence.
