The RSA, one of the club’s most influential fan groups, said Martin has failed to deliver the standards expected at Ibrox, pointing to the “humiliating and painful” Champions League exit to Club Brugge and a poor run of domestic form as proof that change is needed.
The statement read in part:
“Rangers Football Club is bigger than any one individual. Results and performances under Russell Martin have been unacceptable, leaving the team lacking identity and supporters without belief. The time has come for the board to act and relieve him of his duties.”

This follows visible fan protests earlier in the week, with banners calling for Martin to go displayed outside Ibrox. The RSA’s demand adds fresh pressure on the club’s hierarchy, amplifying the sense of crisis around the manager’s position.
