BBC CONFIRMED:£20m Star Reveals Rangers Transfer Near Miss After Trial – Blames Greedy Agent for Collapse

A Premier League star now valued at around £20 million has revealed he came close to signing for Rangers earlier in his career, only for the move to fall apart due to his agent’s financial demands.

The player, who underwent a trial spell at Ibrox as a youngster, admitted he was eager to join the Scottish giants and believed the opportunity could have transformed his career path. However, the deal was scuppered when his representative pushed for a bigger payday, leaving Rangers to walk away from negotiations.

Speaking in a candid interview, the forward looked back with mixed emotions, describing the collapsed switch as one of the biggest sliding doors moments in his career. He suggested that while his career has still gone on to flourish in England’s top flight, he felt “cheated” out of the chance to develop at Ibrox.

Rangers, meanwhile, have a long history of offering trials to talented youngsters from across Europe, with some going on to superstardom while others slip through the net.
