Rangers to make Nathan Patterson consideration amid Everton exit twist
Everton defender Nathan Patterson’s minutes to injury ratio is something that Rangers would need to consider before signing him, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that the fact that he’s previously played for the Ibrox outfit would help smoothen things in terms of his adapting to a different league.
It’s understood that the Scottish right-back is open to returning to the club as he wants to ramp up game time and come back in contention for his national side. [Daily Record, 3 January]
Discussing his situation exclusively with Ibrox News, Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said: “The minutes to injury ratio obviously doesn’t look good but I would tell a team to consider signing him depending on their specific needs and understanding the risk/reward.
“If they want to sign him, they have to understand what the injuries are and have the patience to ramp him up gradually.
“For Rangers, the advantage is that he’s previously played there so has experience of the conditions.“

Gers desperately need a long-term replacement for James Tavernier and Patterson was once touted as that man.
However, his move to Goodison Park has not panned out well, and he might think that the grass may not be greener on the other side.
