WELCOME BACK: Steven Gerrard has finally agreed 7years deal with rangers, after Clements sack…

As of February 19, 2025, Steven Gerrard is being considered for several managerial positions, including a potential return to Rangers FC. Current Rangers manager Philippe Clement is under pressure due to a poor domestic campaign, leading to speculation about possible replacements. High-profile candidates mentioned include Steven Gerrard, Wayne Rooney, and former Arsenal player Jack Wilshere. Gerrard, who previously managed Rangers, is considered a favorite for the role despite mixed results in his subsequent positions.

In addition to the Rangers speculation, Gerrard is also linked with the managerial position at Swansea City. Russell Martin and Des Buckingham are also in contention, with Buckingham being the current favorite.

Furthermore, Gerrard has been tipped to take over at Blackburn Rovers after John Eustace’s departure to Derby County. Former Liverpool teammate Danny Murphy suggests that the Blackburn job would be ideal for Gerrard, considering the club’s location and promising young squad. Gerrard recently left his position at Al-Ettifaq and is evaluating his next career move.

While Gerrard has been linked to these potential roles, no official announcements have been made regarding his next managerial appoint

ment.
