The 22-year-old joins from Portuguese club Gil Vicente, for whom he had scored ten goals in 13 Primeira Liga appearances this season, on a four-and-a-half-year contract, with the option for a further year.
A strong, powerful centre-forward who can score and create goals, bring others into play and has a relentless work-rate, Pablo has had an outstanding campaign so far and was identified as a key target by Head Coach Nuno Espírito Santo.The son of former FC Porto and Braga striker Pena, Pablo was born in Portugal and raised in Brazil before returning to Portugal to join Primeira Division club Famalicão at the age of 16. He joined Gil Vicente in September 2024 and, after 18 prolific months, is relishing the opportunity to show his qualities in the Premier League. . He has signed in time to be available for Saturday’s encounter against Wolves at Molineux, if selected.
