According to The Rangers Review, the Light Blues are still keeping tabs on their long-standing transfer target. The idea of signing the Norwegian was revisited ‘in recent weeks’ but the club ultimately opted against bringing in another midfielder, having already agreed the transfer
This hasn’t completely closed the door on Rangers’ interest in Hjerto-Dahl, though. Rangers remain keen on the 20-year-old but the report claims that any news of them having reached an agreement with his side Tromso over the winter window are false.
Rangers’ interest seems to remain surface level as ‘no offer’ has been put on on the table from the Glasgow side in attempt to strike a deal. Hjerto-Dahl will remain ‘under consideration’ for the Gers but he is not thought to be front-runner for Rohl’s summer plans.
