Newcastle United are eyeing a move to sign Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi in the summer transfer window, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, speaking on his Here We Go podcastGuehi’s future has been a topic of discussion over the last few months, with the Palace defender linked with a move away from Selhurst Park. The English centre-back’s contract is set to expire next summer, meaning Palace could be forced to cash in unless they can convince him to sign a new deal.
Newcastle have previously shown an interest in bringing Guehi to St James’ Park, and the summer transfer window could be another opportunity to try and secure his signature. If Palace are unable to extend his contract, we could see a bidding war take place when the window opens later this year.
